15 DAYS WITH SAKAIS, AN INDEGENIUS WHO STILL LIVE IN THE JUNGLE

"They may not talk like us, but they may sincere more than us."

Have you ever heard about Sakai? I guess not. They are a group of indigenous people who are friendly, peaceful, and very simple. Their home is the jungle. They do not have a written language, calendar, measuring system, I.D., lands, and agricultural skills!!! Sharing is the most important thing in their culture. They love peace. Everything they get, they share to their friends. Because of they do not know how to plant, so they eat just taro, potato, and meat in the jungle. They do not have developed weapons to hunt, but I guess they catch fish using their hands a lot better than me!

Their lives seem very different from our lives, very simple. Unlike us who have to have a lot things to be able to live. Everyday we run and run to have a job, a house, money, and etc. So, why is that? And what do we really need?

They live in a forest in Satul city, Thailand. Some of them communicate with people in a city. Some of them live in the jungle, and stay in a same area. And some of them always move every 15 days especially when they cannot find taros.

You will spend time with the group who live in a same area in the jungle having our coordinator who knows Sakai very well. And, if you are lucky, you will see the ones who always move which will be very special.
